Bombers Fastpitch Organization announced today another expansion as they move into the state of Illinois by adding the Southern Express 14U team. “We are always looking to add high-quality coaches to our program” says Bombers Fastpitch ” by adding Head Coach Rodney Seip a former professional player who was drafted by the Texas Rangers and is currently a High School Head Softball Coach, Assistant Coaches Eric Osman, a certified athletic trainer and also a high school softball coach and CPA Kyle Browning. We have added a great staff who is dedicated to helping players improve and reach their goal of playing at the next level.” The first year 14U team played a tough schedule traveling to 6 different states for showcase and national competition and will continue to seek out opportunities to play in the best events while getting players integrated into the Bomber system for development and recruiting. As a member of Bombers Fastpitch, they will have full access to the Bombers player development staff, coaches training workshops, recruiting seminars and benefit from the discounts offered by the programs sponsors Easton Fastpitch, New Balance, Black Star Athletics, Bownet and Hyper Graphics. The Illinois Bombers 14U will be holding a tryout Saturday, August 4, 11:30-3pm at John A Logan softball field in Carterville, Illinois and will hold Practices at Ray Fosse Park Marion, Illinois and Anna-Jonesboro High School field in Jonesboro Illinois.
